Something a little different this week.


Once, I thought you were a strange geek.
Then I got to know you.
Once, you gave me a ride home in a rusty car.
Then, we spent two hours talking, while the snow piled around us.
Once, I couldn't explain to my friends why I liked you.
Then, I realized, they don't need to know.
Once, you would wait for me after class.
Then, we signed up for the same classes, next semester.
Once, I woke up one morning and realized I missed you.
Then, I told you.
Once, you invited me to your room.
Then, we locked the door.
Once, I laid on your bed, looking at the parachute above me.
Then, you laid down beside me.
Once, you kissed me, I knew
I knew I wanted to be with you.
I knew I wanted you to touch me.
Once, I wanted more.
Then, you gave me more.
It took only once. But I was in love.
